This was one of a group done August 1929. Hinder was influenced by the works of N. Roerich seen at the Roerich Institute where he was studying. Nicholai Roerich 1874-1947,, was a Russian painter, thetre designer, scientist, archaeologist. and philosopher, who worked in Russia to 1916, then Finland, USA, India, and Central Asia. His works are instense in colour, pantheistic in vision
